WINDING UP 2018
At a Special General Meeting on 16th October 2018 a resolution was passed winding up Albany Coco Inc. from the 30th November 2018.
The surplus funds were distributed to the following not-for-profit organisations as per the ‘rules’ of Albany Coco Inc.
Paremoremo Residents Association – towards annual rates
Amanda Heyes – to continue the work of Boomerang Bags at Albany Community Hub
Greenhithe Residents Association – to complete remedial work on Old School Hall
Greenhithe Residents Association – assistance for upgrading the Greenhithe Hall
Albany Chinese Association – contribution toward rental to hold their programmes
Kai Rakau Project C/o Sustainable Pare – to assist a two year programme of grafting & caring for Historic Fruit Trees until able to be planted.
English Language Partners – contribution to the rental of The Hub, Albany
North Harbour Sports – to assist with equipment for upcoming programmes
Lesley Wilson, C/o Albany Hall Committee & War Memorial Library – to assist progress on Albany soldiers stories from WWI & WWII & replacement signs etc.
Albany Primary School – contribution towards paving costs for the all-weather orchard area.
Greenhithe Community Trust – towards youth and environment workshops
North Harbour Sports – community development – healthy & active
North Harbour Sports – community development – newcomers network
Youthline – contribution towards salaries
Albany Community Preschool – to assist with funding activities
Greenhithe Playcentre – to assist with repairs & maintenance
Shore Community Trust – for training purposes – games & activities
Tauhinu Sea Scouts – to purchase new tents
PHAB – contribution to deliver valuable services
Heart of Youth Charitable Trust – assistance with expenses for their programme
YES Disabilities – to cover costs of running 4 meetings
Coatesville Playcentre – to assist in replacing sheds
Ridgeway Primary School – for technical books for school children
The current committee will remain in place until the 30th June 2019 to administer the affairs of the Trust.
